Last weekend I delivered a beautiful rustic blue orchid wedding cake to an outdoor wedding. For that order I also made a custom groom’s cake that the bride ordered as a surprise. The groom likes to play an online game called League of Legends so she wanted me to make a League of Legends cake for him. She particularly liked the idea of a replica of the Summoner’s Rift map from the game.
The cake was covered in green fondant. Blue piping gel was used to mimic the lakes on the map. The trees were made by rolling green fondant into a cone shape then using fine scissors to snip “branches” into them. The rocks were all formed from gray fondant as were the remaining decorations.
