This designer shoebox cake was for a 50th birthday party. The customer asked I incorporate her favorite brand Via Spiga, and her favorite color purple. I decorated the cake to look like a Via Spiga shoebox and created a purple platform shoe out of gumpaste, as well as a purple wallet. I found this very handy tutorial done by the Pink Cake Box that really helped with designing and creating this cake.
